Soy wax- best alternative for natural wax

Soy wax candles, as the name suggests, are made from soy wax. In the early 1990s, Michael Richards, a candle maker by profession, wanted to cash on the growing demand for natural wax candles, and decided to create and alternative candle wax. Following a series of experiments with plant waxes, Michael succeeded in creating a wax using hydrogenated soy oil. Initially, this wax was mixed with beeswax to create a cheaper material for candles. Soy wax candles were first launched in 1995 by the Body Shop chain of stores. These candles contained some quantities of beeswax and almond oil. Pure soy wax candles were first manufactured in 1996. These soy candles have a longer burning time than those made of paraffin and other blends. This is also the reason that less soot is produced when they burn.
All of these candle making supplies can be bought through online stores. They can be viewed, compared and ordered online through the several websites of candle making suppliers. There are also soy wax wholesale providers of candle making supplies. These stores offer candle supplies at discount prices if bought in bulk quantities. They also offer lower shipping charges. However, there is a certain minimum limit for buying candle making supplies in wholesale quantities.
